Beautiful & purposeful (not productive)

There’s a specific kind of ache that comes with trying to be yourself in a world that keeps handing you other people’s scripts. Especially when you’re someone who burns bright with ideas, sensitivity, and more tabs open (in your brain) than any browser should support. For those of us with AuDHD in the mix, it can feel like the moment we find our rhythm, the music changes—and we’re back to explaining, adjusting, translating again.

The pressure to be productive is relentless. To prove you deserve your space by showing your output. But beautiful and purposeful? That’s a whole different paradigm. It’s slower. Stranger. Rooted. It lets you choose your pace, your way, your weird little rituals. Productivity asks, What did you do? Purpose asks, Were you present? Beauty asks, Did you feel alive? Sometimes your most potent contribution is simply staying with yourself, even when that self feels blurry or raw or resting.

For your Curious Mind

Try this not-so-secret experiment: every time you feel the pressure to be “productive,” ask: Am I already being purposeful? It might be through noticing. Through tending. Through stopping. What if your attention is already doing the work?

For your Connected Heart

Pause and remember a time you felt fully you—in a conversation, an outfit, a messy decision that weirdly felt right. That moment was enough. That version of you is still here, even if she’s been hiding under a weighted blanket of expectations.

For your Creative Body

Do one small real-world thing on your own terms today. Maybe it’s wearing the earrings that make you feel like a forest witch CEO. Maybe it’s pausing between meetings to touch a leaf or dance in your socks. Let your body feel what it’s like to act from your own rhythm.

Take what you need

When you’re feeling the pull to do things your way

There’s no shortage of info out there about neurodivergence—and for many AuDHD women, it’s like trying to swim in your own depths without a map. Been there. Drenched in tabs and tangled in shoulds.

That’s why I made this collection of resources

not to give you more to learn about,
but to help you learn
through your actual life.

You don’t need to be in a good place to use them. Honestly, they work best when you’re stuck, grumpy, or wondering if anything will help (same).

✨ Head over and pick whatever meets you where you are.

Show up on your own terms, with all your magic intact.

You’ve got more to offer—and to claim—than you’ve been led to believe.

[✨ This way✨]

✨ An Invitation to Wonder

When have you felt most authentically expressed?

Like your words, your movements, your energy

—all lined up with something real and raw inside you?

You don’t have to recreate it.

Just notice.

That’s a breadcrumb trail you can follow, slow and soft and sideways if needed.

(It’s not about the hustle. It’s about the spark. The uncontainable you-ness. She’s walking on fire. She’s got both hands in her pockets and fire in her eyes.)

Encouragement for Sensitive Souls 💛

It’s ok if none of this lands.

It’s more than ok if you say “nope” to every suggestion.

Your ‘no’ is sacred.

It carves the space where your real ‘yes’ can rise up.

You don’t need to fix anything to be worthy of love or presence or beautiful things.

AND if there’s one idea here that tickled your ribs or made you whisper maybe…,

hold it gently.

Carry it like a stone in your pocket.

See where it takes you.

You’re allowed to follow wonder, not a plan.

That’s not being lost—it’s being alive.

🐢💃✨

AuDHD-friendly Affirmation for wondering women:

You don’t have to be clear to be powerful. Your questions are part of your magic.

Many women with AuDHD in their lives love to think deeply, feel fully, and find weirdly specific ways to make meaning.

They are conditioned to mask their brilliance, shrink their rhythms, and over-explain their worth.

Which undermines our ability to show up as we are—present, purposeful, and beautifully strange.

Remember you can trust your pace, follow your energy, and say no to what doesn’t serve (even if it sounds “sensible”).

I trust you to know what lands, leave what doesn’t, and come home to yourself in your own good time.

In my resource collection you’ll find practical magic to meet you mid-flail, spark your own answers, and lift your spirit without pressure.

Brief notes on beautiful and productive

Beautiful and productive vs productive

I like that better than productive.

Beautiful and purposeful

That is what we are in the dance.   Oof.

What even is productive?

Busywork.   Exhausting.   <  i think this is this week’s post.

Presence is beautiful.

Expression is purposeful

Often strange and incomprehensible.

This is nature

This is my new goal.

Feel beautiful and purposeful as often as possible

Present and intentional.

Beautiful in my malicious bitch energy.     Radiantly beautiful.
