Hey beautiful
Photo above is today’s fresh research reading list. Fiction, non fiction and large type fiction. 🤓. More on the way. These are the books on the library shelves.
Observations from the council library collection:
“Invisible Woman/Women” as a title appears in these categories:
– feminist non fiction, contemporary and historical
– fiction for grown ups (characters aged ~50+)
– romantic/thriller/superhero fiction
Also, ironically, the library puts a genre sticker on fiction books where applicable – romance, fantasy, action, historical etc. – but believable stories about women’s friendships are blank – genreless – invisible?
The very existence of these mainstream published book titles confirms to me that the Invisible Woman is a common and relatable handle naming the lived experience of many women.
I left the high drama, low relatability stories out of my research pool for now.
My intention is to support real women to know they are not alone – or unreasonable! – in feeling invisible.
Truth is, a feeling of invisibility is a real and painful issue for many women, especially those in long term caring roles.
Getting informed and educated about this affliction is a smart first move, whether for yourself, or to support someone you care about.
Also – fiction counts – learning through imagination is a totally valid path. Storytelling is as old as humanity, and is a great way to start touching on tender feelings from a safe distance

The back cover blurb pretty much sums up what the Invisible Woman Project is all about:
“After twenty years of taking care of everyone else’s every need, it’s time to ask: what about me?!”
And much as I am sure I’ll enjoy reading this book, what I’m most excited for is getting that question off the page and into real women’s real.lives.
Because that’s where the true stories, synchronicities stranger than fiction, actually happen and life meets you exactly where you’re at in surprising ways.
So for the next ten days, I am opening enrolment into Freeing the Invisible Woman, my 13 week 1:1 feminist embodiment coaching course, enabling you to show up and step into the rewarding life you truly desire and deserve.
I will share more in the next week and after that explain properly for the next round which starts in August.
I have complete faith in the richness and value you will find inside this course if you are willing to look past the slightly sketchy beta presentation.
I know for sure that the women who are a match are super smart and discerning and deep down know exactly what they want, but may have almost given up hope of finding it.
Let’s find out if this course holds the key to you grabbing your life back and starting to live exactly as you choose – just like the characters in Sarah Long’s book.
Finally, I am offering a 50% discount to the first four women who dare to back themselves and commit to making this transformation now rather than later. This is a once in a lifetime, moon rainbow special.
Hit connect below and I will be delighted to share more details.
