Finding joy in the midst of life
2-5 May 2025, Marcus Beach, Sunshine Coast
You have got everything going on.
You are holding things together in ways that many people close to you do not understand or appreciate.
You’re starting to feel stretched a bit thin.
You’re discovering that you need some kind of
structure that supports you
Support etymology:
late 14c., supporten,
“to hold up, prop up, bear the weight of;”
also “to aid” someone, “speak in support or advocacy of;”
also “put up with, bear without opposition, endure without being overcome, tolerate,”
from Old French suporter “to bear, endure, sustain, support” (14c.)
and directly from Latin supportare “convey, carry, bring up, bring forward.”
This is from assimilated form of
sub “up from under” (see sub-)
+ portare “to carry” (from PIE root *per- (2) “to lead, pass over”).
You are wondering where to begin.
It’s time to slow down and let go of what is no longer serving you.
This AuDHD-venture is for you when
You’re carrying a mental load that’s difficult to articulate
You’re not sure who or how to ask for help – or even what help you need
You’re looking for downtime that makes a lasting impression.
Please know – the busyness is not your fault
The ablist, patriarchal, colonial capitalist culture we live in conditions us all toward labouring more than we should.
Many of us broad minded AuDHD women become acutely mentally and emotionally overstretched. Moving through the world in functional freeze, unable to process the impact of our actions on ourselves or others.
Until we almost forget that life can also be sweet and slow and kind.
This AuDHD-venture is for you if you want to feel
clear
grounded
purposeful
confident that you have access to what you need to take up space and time as an AuDHD woman.
Introducing
Rest, Reflect, Rewire Retreat
A three day, catered retreat for busy (AuDHD) women, enabling you to slow down and feel what you feel, so you can get a fresh perspective on what might be missing from your life, enabling you to call in and connect with the support you need.
A long weekend dedicated to rest, exporation, conversation and recreation.
for sensitive souls who are wondering where the time goes.
Refocus on your personal purpose
with this weekend escape to reconnect with the support that is always available to you
Meet my teacher, colleague and friend, Liz Page:
Liz is a Feldenkrais practitioner, experienced transformational facilitator, (grand)mother and neuroplasticity geek.
I am deeply grateful that our paths crossed and we connected over an appreciation of the power of mindful movement.
Super subtle and sensitive, working with her produces results so gently you might not quite notice anything was happening except you feel completely different afterwards – and may take astonishing new actions, previously unconsidered.
I experience Liz as a potent facilitator
She’ll be bringing all of her skills to facilitating your growth and expansion during our Rest, Reflect and Rewire Retreat.
The Feldenkrais method (named for its creator, Moshe Feldenkrais, 1904-1984) is a foundational mindful movement exploration process. Usually slow and gentle, working with very small articulations, participants learn both how they move, and how to learn.
There is an inherent invitation into curiosity and playfulness. Confusion is welcomed as a rich foundation for learning.
In my experience, one of the biggest lessons is “do less!” and notice more.
During this retreat, under Liz’s expert guidance, we will explore the relationship between the skeleton, muscular system and nervous system and learn now to bring them into a harmonic realtionship with each other.
Though that sounds ambitious, I have found the Feldenkrais claim to “make the impossible possible, the possible easy and the easy elegant” is surprisingly achievable.
Rest, Reflect, Rewire Women’s Retreat includes
Daily accomodation at Desert Flame private oasis, Marcus Beach.
The property is walking distance to both long open Sunshine Coast beaches
and the wallum and sand dunes of Lake Weyba section of Noosa National Park.
The venue includes diverse separate quiet study spaces,
as well as a large kitchen area (for dancing)
saltwater pool and fireplace.
There are four king beds available.
We invite you to share with a friend, or claim a whole room to yourself for a premium.
Bush tucker infused meals and snacks.
Prepared by the awesome folks from Deadly Espresso cafe, a SevGen Indigenous social enterprise founded by Aboriginal woman Terri Walker.
Spacious accomodation, meals taken care of, awesome company. But wait, there’s more.
We have an immersive program of gentle yet effective activities to share with you.
Participation is encouraged, not required. You always get to choose your own adventure.
And we believe that this structure may offer you insights about the support that you need most in your regular life.

Praise from previous retreat participant Ellen N:
“I asked Rachael to create a retreat for me, a space for my approaching middle aged soul to shed and be known.
What she created was collaborative, deep, nurturing, safe and expertly held…profound.
Rachael’s facilitation capacity goes deeper than just being grounded. She sat with me in the murky parts of my being, maintaining an unwavering responsiveness with me, a very deep listening.
The transformation I have experienced since working with Rachael has been subtle, sustainable and joyful. There is now a daily effortless sense of knowing who I am.
I just get to be me all of the time now!
I absolutely recommend weaving some magic with Rachael. You will come to know all of who you are.”
