One step towards the universe

Choosing AuDHD-friendly joy in the midst of life

You have got everything going on.

You are a brilliant support person, and you are rightly proud of your ability to champion others in their life journeys.

You are holding things together in ways that many people close to you do not understand or appreciate.

You are balancing work life and home life, across generations, caught in the middle.

Wanting to be there for everyone.

Sometimes you feel stretched a bit thin.

Sometimes, you wish that you could let it all go for a while.

Deep down, you know you need a real holiday.

Secretly, maybe you dare to dream about a bespoke

structure that supports you

Support etymology:

late 14c., supporten,

“to hold up, prop up, bear the weight of;”
also “to aid” someone, “speak in support or advocacy of;”
also “put up with, bear without opposition, endure without being overcome, tolerate,”

from Old French suporter “to bear, endure, sustain, support” (14c.)
and directly from Latin supportare “convey, carry, bring up, bring forward.”

This is from assimilated form of
sub “up from under” (see sub-)
portare “to carry” (from PIE root *per- (2) “to lead, pass over”).

What kind of structure could ever be dynamic enough to meet your needs?

It’s time to slow down and feel into the support that is always available to you.

Hey, I’m Rachael, and I know something about what it’s like to be a woman with AuDHD in my life, who also wears many supporters hats.   As a mum, an employee, a volunteer, a daughter, a friend, a partner, a N’entrepreneur,  I spend a large part of my life uplifting others – and often making it look easy.

On the inside though, I know I am sometimes screaming, wondering when will I get a break?   When can I find time to unwind and check in with where this is all going?

I’m experienced enough now to know that when I start feeling that way, it’s critically important to commit to taking some deep time out.   To actually schedule it and show up, no matter what.

That’s why I decided to create a creative and playful experience for other strong women with AuDHD in their lives.

Where unsung heroines like you can rest and feel cherished by what brings you joy.

Where you’ll have time to feel into what really makes sense for you going forward.

So you can make clearer, more informed decisions about how you do what you do.

So you can take one step towards the universe.

This AuDHDventure is for you when

You’re carrying a mental load that’s difficult to articulate

You’re not sure who or how to ask for help – or even what help you need

You’re looking for downtime that leaves a lasting impression.

Please know – the heaviness is not your fault

The ablist, patriarchal, colonial capitalist culture we live in conditions us all toward carrying more than we should.

Many of us broad minded women with AuDHD in our lives become acutely mentally and emotionally overburdened.  We find ourselves moving through the world in functional freeze, unable to acknowledge what we’ve taken on, or adjust to make it more bearable.

Until we almost forget that life can also be sweet and slow and kind.

This AuDHDventure is for you if you want to feel

clear

grounded

purposeful

confident that you have access to what you need to take up space and time as a  woman with AuDHD in your life.

Praise from previous retreat participant Ellen N:

“I asked Rachael to create a retreat for me, a space for my approaching middle aged soul to shed and be known.

What she created was collaborative, deep, nurturing, safe and expertly held…profound.

Rachael’s facilitation capacity goes deeper than just being grounded. She sat with me in the murky parts of my being, maintaining an unwavering responsiveness with me, a very deep listening.

The transformation I have experienced since working with Rachael has been subtle, sustainable and joyful. There is now a daily effortless sense of knowing who I am.

I just get to be me all of the time now!

I absolutely recommend weaving some magic with Rachael. You will come to know all of who you are.”
